What is Certified Scrum Master and SAFe?
Scrum is a framework for developing and sustaining complex products. CSM certification is a globally recognized credential to identify individuals who have achieved the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in Scrum environments.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is
offered by the Scrum Alliance, an international non-profit organization that
provides education and training on using Scrum in software development. It has
been designed to be recognized globally as the traditional, industry-recognized
credentials for people who work with teams using Scrums processes.
CSM is a Certified Scrum Master certification that allows
you to gain experience and knowledge from Scrum. It is primarily designed for
people who are interested in becoming agile coaches, managers, and developers.
SAFe is a
business process framework for innovation in software development. SAFe has
been in use since 2004, and it has several implementations. It was created for
the Microsoft Business Process Framework, but now it is used by many different
companies from different industries.
SAFe is divided
into three phases: Initiate, Engage, and Employ. In the Initiate phase, leaders
or team members create an idea to implement in the SAFe framework. The Engage
phase begins when all the stakeholders need to determine whether they want to
implement this idea and how they will do so. Finally, in the Employ phase, team
members implement ideas and make any necessary changes based on their learning
throughout the process.
SAFe is a
software development methodology that started in an agile development camp. It
has evolved into many different software development methodologies like
SAFe-Scrum, SAFe-Kanban, and SAFe-DevOps.
